Stress

Feeling stressed about high school is completely normal. Try deep breathing, getting outside, exercising, or talking to someone you trust. Stress is temporary and you can handle it.

Anxiety

Butterflies in your stomach? Racing thoughts? That's anxiety, and tons of students feel it. Journaling, mindfulness apps, and talking about your worries can really help.

Making Friends

Worried about fitting in? Start by being yourself. Join a club, say hi to someone new, or sit with different people at lunch. Friendships take time, and that's okay.

Bullying

If someone is being mean to you, you don't have to deal with it alone. Tell a teacher, counselor, or parent. Bullying is never okay, and asking for help is brave, not weak.

Feeling Overwhelmed

When everything feels like too much, take a step back. Focus on one thing at a time. It's okay to take breaks, ask for extensions, or say no to extra commitments.

Balancing Homework and Life

You don't have to choose between having fun and getting good grades. Make a schedule, prioritize what's important, and give yourself time to relax every day.

Talking to Trusted Adults

Whether it's a parent, teacher, coach, or school counselor, having adults you can talk to makes a huge difference. You don't have to figure everything out alone.

When to Ask for Help

If you're feeling sad a lot, can't sleep, losing interest in things you love, or feel like things won't get better, please talk to someone. Asking for help is the strongest thing you can do.
